Which schools lead the all-time list with
number of individual state champions?
Pat McCarthy.jpg Pat McCarthy had a state title while at Spring Valley, helping to put his alma mater in the Top 30. Now, as an Official he gets to see many teams add to their totals. Several weeks ago we looked at the statistic that showed 1,207 wrestlers have achieved State Champion status in the first 39 years of SC wrestling. We promised to rank all schools to see who leads the all-time list with number of individual state champions. Rock Hill has 84 and Summerville has 80 ... they are the top 2 in our state's 39 years.
